Shipping & Support

 

This Shipping & Support Policy applies to physical goods only and addresses all issues pertaining to shipping delays, item error, damages, exchanges, returns, and refunds...

Please note many shipping carriers restrict the size and/or weight of goods in their "Small Package" network and accordingly, My Metal Supply cannot ship the following sizes/weights outside of Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, and portions of Florida: Material lengths at 8' and longer or packages weighing above 150 lbs or flat sheet larger than 48 x 36". Please expect longer delivery times for those larger items shipping outside of Georgia. Large order quantities or vastly different dimensions may require multiple shipments. Pickup at My Metal Supply in Dallas, GA is always free at the designated address between 9:30am - 2:30pm ET.

Our dedicated team operates to the best of their ability to fulfill every order with accuracy, punctuality, and an eye for quality. We work hard to ensure the correct items are shipped and received in excellent condition with proper packaging, care, and attention to detail. We partner with trusted freight and shipping carriers for a smooth end-to-end delivery at the best cost possible. However, please understand that issues may still occur occasionally and we request your good faith effort to adhere to the following policy so we can promptly address those issues where My Metal Supply may be at fault.

Prior to accepting delivery, you must inspect all items (e.g. for damage, missing quantities, incorrect times, etc.) and report any errors / omissions directly to My Metal Supply (support@mymetalsupply.com) within 24 hours of receiving your order. Failure to do waves your right to future claims and implies your acceptance of the goods received. Please note your signature on the provided delivery ticket, receipt, or carrier's bill of lading, serves as verification and proof that your order was received in good standing and accepted by you on behalf of the Customer.

Legally, all orders made with My Metal Supply are fulfilled as FOB Origin; meaning the title of goods transfer to you once loaded by the freight / shipping carrier at our facilities. In other words, you (the Customer) are legally responsible for the contents of your order once transit is underway.

Any eligible claims will be reviewed by My Metal Supply within 3 business days. If your claim is accepted / approved by My Metal Supply, we shall contact you with the proposed solutions which may include replacing your order or processing a refund. If My Metal Supply obliges to accept a return, please note shipping expenses (for original delivery and return) are not refundable and may be deducted from your refund. My Metal Supply does not charge restocking fees at this time.

Please note most custom goods (e.g. cut-to-length, painted, coated, surface-treated, or processed with another value-added service) are strictly sold "As-Is". Other services (e.g. custom metal fabrication) rendered by My Metal Supply are governed by the quote / estimate and Statement(s) of Work (SoW) generated by My Metal Supply (or it's affiliates) on an individual basis.

My Metal Supply's service, support, and limited warranty commitments, if any, do not cover claims resulting from: (a) misuse (i.e. outside of intended-use), improper installation, environmental conditions, and/or non-compliance with applicable Supporting Material(s); (b) modifications not performed by My Metal Supply; (c) malware (e.g. virus, worm, software bug, etc.) not introduced by My Metal Supply; (d) issues stemming from abuse, negligence, accident, environmental damage (e.g. fire or water), electrical damage, transportation damage by Customer, third-party handling, and/or other causes beyond My Metal Supply’s control; (e) error by Customer (e.g. incorrect product ordered and/or inputting the incorrect specifications and/or improper use).

Please direct all inquiries and questions to support@mymetalsupply.com. For goods sold with custom color-matching, the paint manufacturer may offer a limited warranty or the option to purchase an extended warranty. Please inquire with My Metal Supply about warranty details or questions before making your purchase.

 

Release of Liability, No Indemnity, & Change of Terms

My Metal Supply and its representatives are neither responsible nor liable in any form for any damages whatsoever (e.g. personal, financial, legal, business interruption, injury-related, death-related, etc.) as a result of the use or misuse of products, goods, and services sold by My Metal Supply. My Metal Supply shall not indemnify its customers or their own users / customers. My Metal Supply is hereby fully released from all such liabilities. My Metal Supply, LLC may occasionally update these terms by posting notice on this site.
